Bearing installation
When you get UWE bearing, please mount slewing bearing as instructions below:
(1)Require the installation surface has sufficient strength and rigidity.
(2)Clean bearing and surface of the components, each surface can not have corrosion.
(3)The mounting surface should have locating pin or locating mouth, to prevent the bearing ran to each other.
(4)After contact with the mounting surface, you should check fit clearance with a feeler, the gap can be filled with plastic or a padded to prevent deformation of the bolt tightening.
(5)When installing, ensure that the bearing quenching soft belt should be located in the non-load bearing area or not often load area or load minimum area.
(6)Bearing mounting bolts must be of high strength bolts, according to the loading conditions, select the appropriate intensity level.
(7)Installation washer should adopt flat washer to ensure bearing pre load uniformly.
(8)Bolt preload requires sufficient strength, the preload force is 0.7 times to the bolt material yield limit. Best installed using a torque wrench to ensure uniform force and improve quality of the installation.
(9)Tighten bolts should adopt a "star" cross or symmetrical diagonal tightening way, first pretension and then follow the strength requirements and tighten the bolts.Tighten the bolts needs a torque wrench .
(10)For toothed products,must do the gear backlash detection before tighten the mounting bolts. To ensure the minimum or maximum diameter  (with logo) of the gear ring beating meet the design requirements (available 0.05 ~ 0.3mm feeler gauge calibration) .

Slewing ring installation related parameters requirements
(1)Mounting surface roughness is less than Ra12.5.
(2)The maximum allowable values of the installation surface flatness  can be determined according to actual working condition, but the flatness change must be uniform increasing or decreasing, within the scope of the circumference of a circle, not allowed to appear more than two (including two) peak, and 100 mm face runout is not allowed within the scope of more than 0.015 mm
(3)Maximum value on the radial direction inclination of the mounting surface is 0.04mm .
(4)Prestressing force of bolt installation must be determined according to the strength level of the bolt,the pre load force is 0.7 times to the bolt material yield limit.

Aluminium wire race bearing

Wire race bearing is a special structure bearing with the ring and raceway composited inlay. Bearing main body material can be choosen with some special material according to the operating conditions such as special aluminum alloy material, special copper and other metals or metal materials. Using quenched high performance special spring wire embedded in the bearing ring to serve as a bearing raceway with the characteristics of high precision, wear resistance, easy maintenance.
UWE designed and developed double row cylindrical roller wire raceway slewing bearing ,which was deliveried in March 2014, recognised by the height of the foreign users. The research and development of steel wire raceway slewing bearing ensure the bearing strong corrosion resistance, light weight, and it is applicable to cold, heat, and many other very dirty environment. Meanwhile the wire race bearing has characteristics of high precision operation, carrying capacity, impact resistance, high reliability.
Due to the high contact stress is mainly borne by steel wire, rings can be seperated. Bearing steel wire rolling can be removed to replace if damaged, the characteristics greatly reduces the cost of transportation, transportation efficiency, repair costs and downtime working time (rapid change in order to avoid delay in wartime aircraft).
This kind of bearing manufacturing is difficult, UWE technology belongs to the domestic advanced level, UWE aluminum wire race bearings are widely used in light machinery, medical equipment, military field and other special work areas, etc.

Wire-race bearings characteristics

Typical features of UWE wire-race bearings are the high-strength races for the rolling elements. A wire-race bearing system allows structural and material combinations as well as cross sections which are out of reach of any conventional antifriction bearing.Dimensions, cross sections and the ring material of the bearings can be optimally matched to all application requirements. Depending on their purpose, UWE wire-race bearings can be ball bearingsroller bearings.They offer decisive advantages over conventional surface-hardened slewing bearing designs like high running accuracy, low and uniform torque resistance even when distorted, resistance to corrosion, low weight due to the surrounding aluminum alloy bearing rings and low maintenance.

Aluminum Alloy Bearing

The surrounding bearing rings are not directly exposed to rolling friction, they do not have to be made from steel but can consist of non-ferrous metals, cast iron or synthetic materials. In particular, UWE aluminium alloy wire-race bearings with light alloy bearing rings have gained special importance.The same load carrying capacity as that of comparable steel bearings is achieved by using an aluminium alloy of high mechanical strength as ring material.Compared to steel bearings of identical cross sections,aluminium wire-race bearings weigh approx. 60 % less.High mechanical strength of this wrought aluminium alloy means that the gearing can also be cut directly into one or more bearing rings.A light alloy wire-race bearing can be made corrosion-proof and maintenance-free by using appropriate materials for the rolling elements and races. The corrosion behaviour of aluminium bearing rings can be significantly improved by a surface treatment.Weight comparison between light alloy and steel bearings equal in size with the same load-carrying capacity and an external diameter of 2200 mm.

033.35.1900.03K2 blade bearing/pitch bearing

033.35.1900.03K2 is UWE blade bearing number for 1.5MW wind turbine.It is double row ball slewing bearing with internal gear.
1.Dimensions:d*D*H:1718*2028*144mm,
2.Weight:1184kg.
3.Material: 42CrMo.
4.Clearance: Blade bearings clearance is "negative clearance". 
5.Anticorrosion: sandblasting and zinc coating should be applied consequently, the layer thickness should be 60 ~ 200μm. The outer diameter surface should be sealing treatment with painting.
6.Sealing: anti-aging, high / low temperature resistance, well sealed, non-flaking and non-leakage. Normally, the German brand Simrit common used.
7.Starting moment: generally, the starting moment measurement under the condition is at the rotating speed > 0.1rpm, temperature 15 ℃ ~ 20 ℃ with empty loading. Starting moment should be controlled to start at a specified range. Starting moment value can indirectly reflect the size of the internal clearance, which is the key to guarantee the normal work of the bearing. The starting moment should be test on the testing machine. And this is necessary for each bearing.. In some applications, the simulative test is required.
